I let this #castiron get #rusty and gross and cleaned it with #vinegarwater and #coconutoil now I am #seasoning it with what is at hand. There is some extra water from the initial boil which I made from eater with a bunch of #spices and #herbs scooped some out and put #mirepoix #stock mix in. Brought it to a boil. Lowered the temp as much as possible. This will continue for nearly 6 hours because I'm gonna set my alarm and jump up to turn it off probably before the alarm rings. We have a fully functioning smoke detector and non kids in the house plus cracked windows near the cooktop. I shall survive the night I believe. It is 1:30 AM after all. Psh. Will be back up by 7 AM. NIGHT.
